Remember all that news about the awesome – video streaming and sharing central to PlayStation 4's philosophy? Well, the Xbox One has it, too.

Game-streaming platform Twitch will be integrated into Microsoft's next-gen gaming console at a hardware level. Xbox Live Gold members will be able to stream games right from the system, and can tune into other users' channels using the built-in Twitch features. Twitch comes with a big built-in audience: 35 million people visit the site monthly to watch live tournaments and streams of games like League of Legends, DayZ, or even older titles like Super Mario 64.

Microsoft has not confirmed whether all games will support the streaming functionality, but a Twitch rep told Wired via email he "would assume it is enabled for all games since it’s integrated into the hardware and not the software."

In other words, as far as we know, the Xbox One's Twitch integration will function exactly like the PlayStation 4's built-in sharing capabilities.
