Dear reader,
At the moment, time is spend preparing for the coming launch of active guided rocket Sapphire. The launch is planned to take place sometime ultimo June - more specific dates coming soon.
Also, in coming blogs you will get detailed diagrams of the Sapphire rocket - its internal systems and eventually the mission operations document.
The mission control vessel Vostok is also being prepared and fixed for this. Please enjoy this new video by Claus Mejling about Vostok.
All operations will be mastered from Vostok but the prime vessel is still launch platform Sputnik - from where the rockets will be launched. The link between the two vessels can be seen below or downloaded as pdf for better reading!
Hopefully the weather will be somewhat better this coming weekend providing us with a chance for a full scale rehearsal at sea of the Sapphire launch.
Oh , by the way - I am trying to find the finances for moving Copenhagen Suborbitals from one building to another - 200 meters down the road - bigger and perhaps better. Just a crazy opportunity, at the moment, I really have to act on.
Ad Astra
