Told that “Starfleet is not about vendetta, Kirk,” his response is unequivocal: “Maybe it should be, sir.” Cue the stern-faced Kirk going after Cumberbatch’s character anyway.
From there on out it’s a plethora of intense action sequences — some of them new, some of them from previous teasers — and even a sarcastic remark from Zachary Quinto’s Spock (guys, Spock made a funny!). Also, there’s a shot of Dr. Carol Marcus (Alice Eve) in her skivvies for some reason (or just as likely, none). But the real thrill has got to be Cumberbatch — furrowed brow and all — promising “I will walk over your cold corpses.” (Maybe he was talking to the Redshirts?)
