This month's printable fun is in celebration of spring. A nature deity found in the mythic traditions of many cultures around the world, the Green Man represents rebirth, fertility and the cycles of the seasons, most specifically springtime.
The Green Man is also the perfect segue not only for spring but for all things Mythic in March, the month of rebirth. In fact blogger of Domythic Bliss Grace Nuth and filmmaker Lisa Stock have dubbed March officially - Mythic March. (Something I find very exciting and I swear I would have told you about it sooner if only I'd known.)
Motivated by NaNoWriMo and a love of myth, the two decided that March should be a month devoted to creative arts inspired by legend and lore.
While March is more than halfway over, I don't think it matters. Domythic Bliss is a blog devoted to incorporating fairytale, myth and enchanted decorating into everyday life. So by that philosophy there's no one saying you can't make 2013 a year full of magic and myth.
