Playmobil Princess Castle Tour

Hi, I’m the Playmobil Princess, and this is my castle. It is also known as set #5142. There are other sets that can be used with my castle, but this is the base set which includes several hundred pieces.

Hi, I’m the Playmobil Princess, and this is my castle. It is also known as set #5142. There are other sets that can be used with my castle, but this is the base set which includes several hundred pieces.

The pieces range from really tiny flower tops and connectors, to medium sized tables and chairs, to large skywalks and towers. They all play their part in my home.

My castle wouldn’t be complete without a prince. My prince is a complete gentleman and takes his hat off indoors and only pulls his sword if there is a dragon attack…or Mater* invades the castle (it has been known to happen from time-to-time).

I also have a pet frog and dragonfly who hang out around the pond outside my ballroom. They don’t eat a lot, and I frequently forget they are there.

Since I brought up the ballroom, perhaps I should give you a quick tour of my castle “crib.” The ballroom allows my prince and me to spin circles around the floor until we fall over. Once we do fall over we lay and stare at the chandelier for hours. Here, we also keep all of the fine dishes.

I also have a tea room. Here I chat with my mother (not included) and look out the fine rose windows. I also have plate settings for eight guests, and teacups for four. It’s so delightful!

When going upstairs the humans tend to make it feel a little like Hogwarts. Thestaircases are always changing! That, or the three-year-old boy who invites Mater over just takes them out in his boyishness. Upstairs are two additional sitting rooms, which have yet to be furnished with additional sets from my line of toys.

Also upstairs is a tower dungeon. It can be locked from the outside, but it can also be escaped (if you don’t mind falling). I don’t go up there much – but Mater has been in there a few times…

As an extra bonus anyone who builds my kingdom also receives a tiara, bracelet ring, and extra jewels (which can be kept in a complementary jewelry box). The little princesses who visit my kingdom like to dress the part and the princes actually like constructing the jewelry.

My Kingdom took several hours to construct taking one set of parents and one set of grandparents to finish the building. But, I am happy with the finished product. My castle can be found on Amazon for $136.84. Others from the Playmobil universe have come to live at my castle including a veterinarian and a cat breeder. You can check out the other official kingdom sets on the Playmobil website.
