In the latest episode of GeekJack Reviews, we're looking at the Korg MicroStation, a 61-key mini-keyboard packed with cool features for the beginner songwriter/music-enthusiast.

If I may commit the sin of pride for a moment, I'd like to mention that as of eight minutes before we shot this video, Jack had never played a note of anything on any instrument. We cut some tape, wrote some numbers on the tape to give a general sense of which note followed which note, and off he went, playing the theme from Star Wars that you see in the video.

While I'm sure this kind of thing would make some purist piano teachers cringe, we found it to be simple, quick and fun to jump in and start discovering the joy of making music at home. If you've got some feedback or passionate feelings on the subject, let us know in the comments below.
