Earlier today, a huge meteor entered the atmosphere over Chelyabinsk, Russia. The meteor produced a spectacular fireball in the sky and an enormous shock wave that blew out windows, set off car alarms, and caused other related damage. Details are still a little sketchy, but it even appears that a fragment of the meteor may have impacted a zinc refinery, causing a section of the building's roof to collapse.
The timing and location was such that a number of videos of the meteor were captured and are already available on YouTube. The first video below shows the fireball clearly, and the next two demonstrate just how powerful the shockwave was.
Note that this meteor had nothing to do with the near passage of Asteroid 2012 DA14 or Bruce Willis (Russian connection or asteroid connection).
