Is it possible to parody a parody? Sure, if you're doing a parody on an unintentional farce of a family such as the Thompson/Shannon family. Oh, and it certainly helps if you're those sultans of satire over at MAD Magazine. The family involved in this circus is far from the one envisioned by Bil Keane, creator of Family Circle. But I have to say, after reviewing clips from the TLC reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, that the cartoonist has a spot-on take for the show. By the way, my head came close to splitting when I used the term "reality" while describing anything about Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Of course, you didn't come here for my critique. You came for the funny.
