For the first time ever, NASA is hosting a live Google+ hangout with astronauts aboard the International Space Station. The hour-long event starts at 7:30 a.m. PDT/10:30 a.m. EDT.

NASA astronauts Kevin Ford and Tom Marshburn as well as Canadian astronaut and Twitter celebrity Chris Hadfield will be floating high above the surface as they answer questions from ordinary citizens. Most of the video queries have been preselected from inquiries sent to NASA last week but you can still submit questions through the agency's Google+ and Facebook pages or through Twitter using the hashtag #askAstro.
