We all know that metaphorically speaking Tyrion Lannister's (p)Imp hand is strong – particularly when, not so metaphorically speaking, it's slapping Joffrey Lannister – and when it comes to looking out for Sansa Stark, he uses it for good. And, as evidenced by this deleted scene from Game of Thrones' second season, he'll even use his swagger to call the dogs off of her.
"I'll see to the lady," Tyrion (the always-awesome Peter Dinklage) says by way of shoo-ing off Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann), aka "The Hound," who is harassing Sansa (Sophie Turner). "Go and find a tree to piss on."
It's easy to see why this scene may not have made the final cut for Game of Thrones season 2 – there's not much here that doesn't come to light through other means during the season – but in the great book of How to Use the Hand of the King for Good (not a real thing), this move is up there. Way to be a gentleman, Tyrion.
Check out the noble gesture above, then look below for a few other scenes cut from season 2 – including a clip of Loras Tyrell mourning Renly Baratheon that's kind of a tear-jerker – below. Game of Thrones returns for season 3 on March 31 (aka "not soon enough").
