Part one of the puzzle roundup for my Kickstarter campaign for my puzzle novel The Maze of Games Kickstarter puzzle roundup is here. As you solve the puzzles, you can acquire badges by typing the answers into the Puzzazz site. Here's a summary of the puzzles from the second third of the campaign.
The Update Puzzles
In the Kickstarter updates starting with Update #3, there are 24 short lines from your adventure through the maze. Each of these contains some numbers which can be replaced by a name of a game which has that number of letters. Typing the number of the line and the name of the game into the Puzzazz site gets you one of 24 pieces of a maze, which can be assembled to get the Maze Breaker badge. Here are the middle eight lines of the story.
9. "What is that sound?" you shout. A raspy voice shouts back, "It is I you 4. 2__k tsk, what a predicament."
10. A small cra__1 2 2__lden armor scuttles into view, snapping his claws the whole time. You're saved!
11. "Please help me get out!" you yell to the crustacean. "This isn't something I can accomplis__1 3__ne."
12. "Quit thrashing. You'll only sink!" he yells, clacking his claws in agitation. "Sto__1 2!"
13. As he pulls you out, you say, "Thank yo__1. 2__body else heard me or stopped to help. I could have died!"
14. He does a claw-clacking dance around you. "Thi__1 4 3__ssing should protect you. There is much danger in the maze."
15. "You should leave right away," he says. "I'll help you find the royal du__5__. She knows the way out."
16. Then he whispers, "You must be quiet and quick because of the loup-ga__3. 3 2__mptations not distract you."
The Century Club Video
When the campaign hit a specific milestone, puzzle ninja Gaby Weidling and I recorded a – video to celebrate the momentous event. Therein was a puzzle that got you the Century Club badge.
