You're probably quite familiar with The Monster at the End of This Book, a Sesame Street classic featuring Grover. (If not, go look it up. You need a copy.) About an hour ago, Sesame Street tweeted that there was a monster "at the end of this Twitter conversation," with the similar expected conclusion. What's particularly funny to us GeekDads is Wil Wheaton's reaction to the thread. While many of us squee at getting retweeted by somebody like Wheaton, it's refreshing to know that he gets equally excited when he gets noticed by Grover.
Here's the thread, taken from Wheaton's Twitter stream (rearranged so you can read it in order). Also, for reference, here are the four photos tweeted by Sesame Street throughout the conversation (1 2 3 4) and the image that Wheaton refers to (OWMNw.gif). (Going to the Sesame Street feed has a few more comments from Grover and two more images, but you get the idea.)
You can follow Wil Wheaton and Sesame Street on Twitter. This episode brought to you by the letters R and T.
