Science: Ruining Everything Since 1543

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal is a daily-updated comic strip that's a GeekDad favorite. The author, Zach Weiner, announced a new collection of his science related comics are being published in a single book: Science: Ruining Everything Since 1543. I should add that not all of the comics are appropriate for young kids. Some mention body parts related to reproduction and some use words you may not want your kids to say. Plus, younger kids won't get some of the jokes.

When I first starting writing this story, I wanted to promote the project so it would get funded. But it didn't need a GeekDad push. The project hit its funding goal in hours. Now Weiner is adding more goodies as the funding increases.

In case you missed it, the first book is Save Yourself, Mammal! and the second is The Most Dangerous Game. I downloaded those two to my Kindle as part of a great package of books in the HumbleBumble eBook Bundle. I think I would have preferred hard copies. My Kindle is great for reading text, but the lack of color diminished the comics.

Maybe I need to get one of those fancier color Kindles. But I'm sending my cash to SMBC instead.
