Today marks the 90th birthday of legendary comic scribe Stan Lee. Born Stanley Lieber on December 28, 1922, Stan Lee and his cohorts are responsible for creating some of the greatest heroes in comic book history, including Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Hulk, and many more notable characters in the Marvel universe.
Stan "The Man" Lee's current project is the YouTube channel Stan Lee's World of Heroes, which shares content dedicated to the "hero lifestyle and enthusiast culture," including Bonnie Burton's Geek DIY.
Stan Lee even finds time to stay up on current comic storylines. [Spoiler Alert!] Amazing Spider-Man #700 writer Dan Slott wished him a happy birthday on Twitter, to which Lee replied,
Happy Birthday to "The Man" who is as much of a character as the heroes he created. Excelsior!
