John McAfee may soon be coming to a theater near you. But who should play him?

A Canadian television production house called Impact Future Media has reportedly secured exclusive intellectual property rights to the antivirus software pioneer's story for film, print and TV. Brian Fitzgerald, the cofounder of Impact, told The Hollywood Reporter on Monday that “[McAfee] trusts that we will honor his life story in an honest and truthful manner." THR also reports that Impact has ties to Chad Essley, the artist currently working on a graphic novel about McAfee.

McAfee is currently wanted for questioning in Belize in connection with the murder of his neighbor Gregory Faull. He has proclaimed his innocence in the case and last week he was hospitalized in Guatemala after being arrested in Central American country while trying to seek asylum.

Fitzgerald is currently looking for investors in his McAfee biographical project, tentatively titled Running in the Background: The True Story of John McAfee (we see what you did there), and while it could still be a ways off, it got us thinking: Which actor would best rise the occasion and channel the bizarre and truly incredible tale of the antivirus mogul turned millionaire fugitive?

We've created a gallery with our picks for playing McAfee, but hit the comments below and let us know who you'd cast for the role.
