WIRED__ RAISES RATE BASE TO 825,000__
- Record Circulation in 2012 Drives 11th Consecutive Increase -
(New York, October 23, 2012) Consumer demand for the latest information on what will matter continues to grow. WIRED today announced a rate base increase to 825,000 from 800,000. The new rate base, an increase of more than 3 percent, will be effective with the January issue and marks the 11th consecutive year of rate-base growth.
“The continued growth of the WIRED community underscores our position as the authority on how ideas and innovations are changing the world,” said WIRED VP and Publisher Howard Mittman. “As technology increasingly influences and powers people’s lives, our audience will continue to grow, and be more engaged, across all entry points: from the magazine, website, and tablet edition to our annual WIRED Business Conference and other marquee events.”

At 837,966, total circulation for WIRED is at an *all-time high: *Up 5% over last year, +13% versus three years ago, and +24% over the past five years. (Source: ABC)
