If the weather holds up, Felix Baumgartner will soon step out of a capsule 120,000 feet above the ground. It should be awesome. What’s even better is that you can watch it live online.

There are some options for viewing the jump. Probably the easiest is the Red Bull live feed which is being hosted on Wired’s Playbook. That should keep you busy. Let me just say that I have been looking forward to this jump for a couple of years. I first wrote about this jump in February 2010. In blog years, that is the equivalent of 20 human years. This project has been a great source for creating models of a person falling through the air. I hope all goes well with the jump.
