Our dear rocket launch-platform Sputnik is still moored to the docks of Space Port Nexoe on the Island of Bornholm, but not for long. We did discuss keeping her on the island because we will be back in the spring, for more launches.

However, having the launch platform next to our facility in Copenhagen for maintenance, upgrades and fun is just so much better. Also, Sputnik Captain Kristian Sørensen says he misses the platform which is an even better argument for bringing the platform home.

This Saturday, the maritime department of Copenhagen Suborbitals, led by Kristian Sørensen, will embark on the 24 hour journey from Space Port Nexoe in the Baltic, south of Sweden and back to Copenhagen.

The ship can be tracked live here or in the graphics below.

Safe trip guys!
