Product announcements and demos are usually elaborate affairs held in dark auditoriums with scores of press live-blogging about the company's music choice. Then there's the occasional accidental unveiling, like an iPhone left on a bar stool. RIM recently took the latter route, when an over-enthusiastic employee accidentally showed off the rumored L-Series BlackBerry phone during a BB10 demo -- while TV crews were filming.
The BB10/unannounced L-Series BlackBerry handset was all caught on camera in Mexico by Hola Telcel. Unfortunately, the original Vimeo video has been pulled. But the internet never forgets, and the video has been uploaded to YouTube. Check it out before it also disappears into the night.
