As New York City and much of the East Coast are entering what could be a miserable couple of days, the meme-sters are already having a ball with Hurricane Sandy.
The lack of epic storm destruction so far has already prompted several people to comment on what, we can hope, might have been an over-prediction for the power of the storm.
Others have been having plenty of fun trying to illustrate what still might turn out to be a very dangerous hurricane, while others have been finding ways to encourage those hunkered down to call up that true American spirit and not be afraid to face Sandy as she blows in.
We hope all those on the East Coast stay safe, and we look forward to a continued stream of memes as Sandy shows us what she's really made of.
