Martyn Ashton has singlehandedly made the Lycra-clad skinny tire set just a bit less douchie. I don’t know if he's actually made wrapping yourself in a skintight kit cool, but not since the early days of Hans “No Way” Rey has doing stupid stuff on your bike been so awesome.

Ashton is a longtime mountain bike trials rider, a master of a sport best described as an obstacle course on two wheels. Now he's thrown a leg over the lustworthy Pinarello Dogma 2 and ripped over, around and through skate parks, forests, junkyards and even an airplane. Yes, I said airplane. Cooler still, he does it all with his hands on the drops.

Ashton makes it clear that the argument that the bike makes the man is complete bunk. Be inspired by him, but don’t attempt to imitate him without health insurance.
