4 Cool Kickstarters

4 cool Kickstarter projects. Steampunk, fairies, and gaming dice.

Steampunk and gaming and fairies. Oh my! Three of these Kickstarter projects have the most professional project videos I've seen to date. (The fourth has a video coming October 31st so stay tuned.) If you're into Steampunk, looking for cool new kid-friendly books for your little ones or on the hunt for stocking stuffers for the gamer in your life, this list has some pretty great projects that need your help.

First up - Dice rings! Let me say that again for the people in the back - DICE RINGS! Gamers - never leave home without your dice. Combine dice and a spinner ring and you get this must have for any D&D enthusiast. Actually, its just so cool you should go back it even if you don't play any game that requires the use of dice.

World of Steam has some incredible heavyweight talent behind its project. With Emmy-winning creatives with prior experience on a variety of Geekdom's favorite franchises, this is one project that seems guaranteed to be stellar. If their project video is any indication, steampunk fans are in for a real treat.

What's better than one Steampunk Webseries? TWO!
Progress is a Steampunk web series that postulates a Victorian era internet complete with wikileaks and hackers. The series follows the trail of a steampunk Jack the Ripper and invites the viewers to help solve the "whodunit." Their project page has a video coming soon and an awesome teaser graphic featuring a DoS attack (denial-of-steam).

Twig the Fairy is an incredibly popular fairy personality and performer who has a huge international following and can be seen at festivals and fairs all over the country. She has a new book project that's sure to be a hit with kids and that has probably the most adorable Kickstarter project video ever.
