Kinect Sesame Street TV brings the sunny days of Sesame Street to your child like never before. Your kiddos can play with Grover, Elmo, and Abby in fun new mini-games, enjoy new ways to watch some of their favorite moments from the show, and even see themselves in Elmo's World standing next to Elmo and Dorothy. As more of an "interactive TV" experience than a video game, Kinect Sesame Street TV is an engaging way for your child to watch and learn alongside his or her favorite characters.

Kinect Sesame Street TV includes eight 30 minute episodes based on themes of growing up and science. Episodes are hosted by the new character Cooper Monster, who immediately endeared himself to my daughter by putting on a T-shirt to match hers. (The next two mornings when my daughter got dressed for the day, she insisted on running to show Cooper to see him put on the same color.) Cooper adds to the fun as he guides the viewer between segments. "Now that's a funny monster," my three-year-old declared.

Each episode contains new Sesame Street content in the form of mini-games with some of your kids' most beloved characters. Players can throw coconuts to Grover, play catch with Elmo, jump up and down with Ernie, and more. These are the most active segments of the game and are certain to get your kiddos' heart rates up.

The episodes also include a long story clip from recent seasons of the show. To keep your child involved as they watch, they are encouraged to hunt for hidden objects by yelling "Picture!" when they see one on the screen. Cooper jumps in to take a photo of the object as your child continues to actively watch the story and stay on the hunt.

Not only are there recent segments of the show in Kinect Sesame Street TV, vintage clips from years past of Sesame Street are also included. I was delighted to see one of my favorites, Kermit and Ladysmith Black Mambazo singing the ABCs.

If your child is an "experienced" gamer, like my seasoned little Dance Central 2 pro, he or she might expect Kinect Sesame Street TV to be more of a game than an interactive episode of the show. More than once my daughter turned to me and asked, "Is this a game?" Once she got an episode or two under her belt, however, she understood the episodes are "two-way TV" and happily watched from then on.
