Game|Life has an iPhone 5!
Well, technically none of the cast members has one. But Wired IT guru Josh Strom does. And it’s a good thing, too, as he has to substitute for both Wired senior editors Chris Baker and Peter Rubin on today’s episode of the podcast. Baker planned to be out, but Peter Rubin was called away mere minutes before the podcast was slated to begin due to some sort of plumbing emergency at home.
I’m sure it’ll be a hilarious story if he doesn’t drown.
Anyway, Josh and I discuss the ups and downs of Apple’s latest phone, paying close attention to how it works as a game machine. I spend about two seconds playing the new adventure game Lili (pictured). Then I ask Josh the burning question: What does he think of Wii U, anyway? The answer might surprise you.
