I'm a Daddy's girl, always have been. And at 31 it's pretty safe to say I always will be. So I can appreciate, to a certain degree, the task that Holly Gilliam is undertaking for her father. She has taken it upon herself to archive every scribble, sketch and note that Terry Gilliam ever wrote and kept. Terry is one of the founding members of Monty Python, is the director of such films as Time Bandits(1981), 12 Monkeys(1995), and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus(2009), and even attempted to adapt Alan Moore's Watchmen comics into films in the 80s and 90s to no avail.

In "Discovering Dad" aka delving into Terry Gilliam's personal archive, she cannot resist posting bits and pieces that she finds along the way. In Holly's words: "I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by my father's amazing work all my life and I think it should be seen by everyone." I agree! So far she has posted original sketches from Time Bandits, rough storyboards from The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassusand just this past week, original scripts from Monty Python circa 1969 to 1974.

If you have ever wanted a glimpse into the inner workings of a truly original and creative mind, then this is the place for you. Just take a look at this interview from 1982 with Terry Gilliam talking Time Bandits on the third episode of Letterman (note: not for little ears).
