This music video is the reason nerds rule. Forever.
The parody clip, the first from YouTube channel Satire, takes LMFAO's party anthem "Sexy and I Know It" and turns it into a NASA Curiosity mission anthem sung by a wannabe Bobak "Mohawk Guy" Ferdowsi (natch).
Between references to eating peanuts, shout-outs to Neil deGrasse Tyson and lyrics like "We're better than SpaceX and we ain't afraid to show it," the video hits almost every moment of the space agency's latest unmanned mission to Mars.
It's also just, well, pretty damn catchy. Even the rover agrees.
"This fan-made video is awesome (and I know it)," the Curiosity Rover tweeted Wednesday, adding the mission hashtag #MSL and #wigglewigglewiggle.
Go ahead, give "We're NASA and We Know It" a watch. And make sure it's queued up for the next massive NASA-appreciation party in your neck of the universe.
