The entire day has been hectic for all 50 people involved in the launch tomorrow of SMARAGD-1 in the Baltic Sea.
During the Day we have been fueling the rocket, checking out all electrical systems, setting up communications towers, mission control, app 50 cameras and revising the mission planning.
We are still GO for launch tomorrow, Friday July 27. The weather is perfect and engines and electronics has been checked out. The entire fleet will meet at the launch site in the Baltic Sea at 900 AM local Danish time (3 AM NYC time) and hopefully launch 11 AM (5 AM NYC time).
But you never know… There might be technical difficulties or even range safety issues caused by boats trespassing the launch site even though they have been told to stay away postponing the launch an hour (or more).
Tomorrow, very early, we will all head out into the ocean, so stay tuned.
Remember that a live video and radio feed will be broadcasted on our website
