With rumors persisting about a Facebook phone, it looks like we might see the first fully-licensed physical product from the social media giant. But we wondered what Facebook-branded products are already out there, real or imagined.
Trademark laws restrict knock-offs and unlicensed products partly so brands can maintain high-quality standards. Even though — or perhaps because — Facebook produces no physical products (yet), the company isn't immune to brand bandits. Although Facebook wouldn't comment on how it approaches unlicensed products, only one of these received a cease-and-desist letter from the company.
Some of the products in this gallery are real, some are just mock-ups. Some were designed by companies looking to make a buck, and others by fans looking to make a splash. Some have potential, and some are ridiculous, but we'll let you decide which is which.

Ever since rumors of a Facebook phone leaked, imaginations have run amok with ideas, skepticism, and desire. But designer Michal Bonikowski did more than just imagine — he built a digital mockup based on HTC's Touch, making it blue for brand recognition.
"Blue color will work the same way as white iPod headphones a few years ago," says Bonikowski, adding that even from a long distance, it would be easy to recognize.
