Welcome to Pixar Week at GeekMom!
We are so excited for this week's release of Brave that we have dedicated a number of our features this week to all things Disney/Pixar. Brave is the thirteenth animated film released by Disney/Pixar and arguably the most anticipated by us GeekMoms because, finally, it features their first female lead.
Pixar Animation Studios started as a small division of Lucasfilm and was acquired by Apple's Steve Jobs in 1986. Since creating the first full-length computer animated film, Toy Story, in 1995, Disney/Pixar has continued to enchant audiences with stories and characters that truly come to life.
