Back in my middle school days, the absolute height of fashion was a pair of acid-wash jeans, the bottoms tightly-rolled, and a pair of Adidas Samba indoor soccer shoes. I will save you photographic evidence of this look.

The Samba was developed in 1950 as a training shoe for soccer players on hard, icy ground, but it quickly morphed into a staple for indoor soccer players. Now Adidas has taken that classic look, added spikes, and turned it into a golf shoe.

There are standard models available, but the company also released limited editions of four different colors to commemorate the four professional golf majors of the year. We're partial to the red, white, and blue for the recently-completed U.S. Open, although the beachy blue and orange for this year's PGA, to be held at Kiawah Island, South Carolina seem pretty cool too.

There's just 1950 pairs of each, and the Masters model is already sold out, so if you have your heart set on them, check out Adidas for the latest.
