This Kickstarter round-up is art-centric, but pretty diverse. There's something here for kids and kids at heart, and several of these projects are headed by geeks and/or GeekMoms! All of them are worthy endeavors that are in need of supporters. Check them out and feel free to share a link to your favorite Kickstarters.

Chocolate Chips & Rocket Ships: 99 1/2 poems in 100 days - A book of fun poetry and gorgeous illustrations by 100 different artists. The poems "The Prince's Lament" and "Baddie Bags" are just stellar, and sure to be a hit with kids.

Miss Zee Coloring Book Project - Artist Miss Zee is creating a coloring book "centered around a puffy-haired character of a darker hue." She was inspired by her daughter and a need for books that reflect ethnically diverse heroines for little girls.

Abstract Fairy Tales - Artist Elizabeth Pfleeger illustrates classic fairytales with delightful and colorful abstract paintings. A self-professed GeekMom, her work helps support her family.

Art Over Wheels - Art Geek Dara Brown wants to bring art to the masses with a traveling art mobile (ya know, like a book mobile, but with art). With arts education in public schools on the decline, we need more souls like Dara to bring a little color to the kids.

The Chibi Tarot - If you like an overload of cuteness with your Jungian Archetypes, or if you are just a fan of Japanese style art, check out this Tarot deck by artist Adam Blodgett.
