So how are we celebrating Towel Day here at GeekMom? Well you'll be able to sass some amazingly hoopy Etsy finds, find out all about the upcoming Hitchhikers live show that's touring the UK this summer and discover more about the number 42 than you ever wanted to know.
To find out more about Towel Day and to get involved you can visit the official site, follow the #towelday hash tag on Twitter and don't forget to post your pictures on the Flickr group. If you head on over to the GeekMom Facebook page, you might be able to spot some of us GeekMoms with our towels as well.
So long Mr Adams, and thanks for all the fish.
