This Sunday marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. If you can't get enough of all things Titanic then this post is for you. I've rounded up some of the best content from television, the web, and even Virtual Gaming for my fellow Titanophiles.
First up, ABC has Downtown Abbey creator Julian Fellowes' two night miniseries Titanic. It airs this weekend and as an Downtown Abbey fan, I for one cannot wait!
The History Channel has three Titanic documentaries slated to run on Sunday. They've also got some nice slideshows and interactive features on their website.
The Science Channel is airing "Last Mysteries of the Titanic" all week, a which follows James Cameron as he dives to the site. I caught some of this last night and it was very exciting!
Turner Classic Movies is airing A Night to Remember and The Unsinkable Molly Brown on Saturday.
In books there is of course the classic A Night to Remember, a book that has become the go to account of the nights events and the basis of the classic film.
There is a new book I recently read which I think will definitely be joining the ranks of required reading for Titanophiles the world over. Shadow of the Titanic is beautifully written and very well researched. It tells the truly fascinating stories of the lives of the survivors of the tragedy.
Of course James Cameron film Titanic is being released this weekend - this time in 3-D.
Lastly for a truly immersive experience try out the Titanic attraction in the virtual world Second Life.
