Oh, the inspiration from Harry Potter continues in ever expanding directions. The International Quidditch Association, known for developing a muggle version of the beloved game from the books, even hosting a World Cup, is trying something new.

The Quidditch Culinary Classic is on!

*The contest is an IQA-inspired Recipe Challenge that will be launched on their Facebook page from April 23rd, 2012 until May 14th, 2012. Fans, friends, and foes will have the chance to compete against each other in a unique platform. For the first time in IQA history competitors don’t need to worry about getting covered in grass and mud stains, only in flour and butter. *

HOW TO ENTER:
1. The participant MUST enjoy the sport of Quidditch and the consumption of tasty treats of both sweet and savory variety.
2. "Like" the International Quidditch Association Facebook page.).
3. Take and submit a photo that showcases a homemade dish inspired by the world of Quidditch. Upload the image to the photo contest App located on the International Quidditch Association’s Facebook page and include a caption that explains the dish displayed.
4. Get your friends, family, and foes to vote for your submission.
5. One Grand Prize Winner and Two Runner-ups will be chosen from the Top 10 most "Liked" entries.
6. Prize packs will be awarded to the top three entries.
7. The top three winning dishes will have their recipes published in the June issues of Quidditch Quarterly and on the International Quidditch Association website.
