- A new book shed light on many of the mythical screenplays fans salivate over as they toil in development hell. Appropriately titled, Tales From Development Hell gathers the stories of projects such as Darren Arnofsky's Batman and Neil Gaiman's Sandman film. The Underwire has an official excerpt on what surely would've been all kinds of bizarre: a Tim Burton Planet of the Apes.

- Finally, Destroyer announced a US tour this week where fans will get a second chance to see last year's Kaputt performed live. Dan Bejar (main songwriter of Destroyer, also a New Pornographers member) may have a new old-album released during that time. His former group Points Gray, releaed *Offshore *in 2000 with only 100 CD-Rs created. Now the band is raising funds to release 500 vinyl copies of the album, a nice opportunity for fans to finally complete their Bejar collections. (via Pitchfork)
