I hope everyone is moving right along with their reading of our GeekMom Book Club selection for this month, which is The Hobbit. We only have a couple weeks left so it's also time to start voting for the book we will be reading for April.

There are five books up for consideration for April. The books are The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and two selections by GeekMom editors: Pilgrim of the Sky by Natania Barron and Phoenix Rising by Corrina Lawson. Please vote on which of these books you'd like to see as the GeekMom Book Club selection for April by going to the poll on our Goodreads group. The poll will be open until Monday, March 19th.

Now, back to The Hobbit! Here are the questions I pose for this week:

During one of the most famous and important scenes in The Hobbit, Bilbo plays a game of riddles with Gollum. He ends up winning by asking "What have I got in my pockets?", which Gollum is unable to answer. How do you think you would have done if you had been playing the riddle game instead of Bilbo? Do you think Bilbo cheated by asking a question at the end that wasn't strictly a riddle?

Please weigh in with your thoughts here or at our GeekMom Goodreads group! You can also see last week’s question as well at Goodreads.
