[bug id="ces2012"] Wired is heading to Las Vegas to cover the crazy, whirlwind electronics trade show known as CES. We'll be hitting the announcements, demos and debauchery hard and heavy. But who exactly are we?
We're bringing a talented team of editors, writers, photographers and videographers to capture the best and worst of CES in all its Vegas-infused glory. Here's how to keep track of what's going on, as well as an introduction to who will be contributing to reports, videos and photo galleries.

Since you're going to be seeing our ugly mugs and manicured fingers as we capture photos and video of all the goings-on at the show, you might as well know a bit about who's who. So, in alphabetical order, here we go:
Christina Bonnington
Day to day, Wired.com staff writer Christina normally covers the Apple and Microsoft beats for Gadget Lab. At CES, she’ll be scoping out the best in ultrabooks, apps, iOS peripherals, and cool future-tech -- as well as using her classical ballet training to navigate through the dense crowds (when she’s not partying with robots).

John Bradley
John is a senior editor for Wired magazine. He also works with the Wired.com products team and oversees apps coverage. At CES, he’ll be looking for big-picture trends, cool new apps, and health-and-fitness gadgets. That, and failing every day to wake up extra early to exercise before the show.

Michael Calore
Michael edits the product reviews on the Wired website. He's one of those people who's "like, way into music," so he's super-interested in seeing all the new headphones, mobile audio products and wireless music systems. But the thing he's most looking forward to at CES is testing the bed in his hotel room.

Mike Isaac
Equipped with only a laptop and a disarming smile, Wired.com staff writer Mike Isaac will wade through the onslaught of smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs. When he's not engaging in the masochism that is CES, you'll find him covering almost all things Google -- especially Android.

Erik Malinowski
Erik is a sports writer for Wired.com and managing editor of Longshot Magazine. He's also the former editor of Wired.com's sports technology blog, Playbook. At CES, he'll probably be glued to the 3D HDTV displays watching ESPN, but will also be on the lookout for the most dazzling prototypes at CES, and connected home appliances.

Jim Merithew
Jim is the director of photography at Wired.com. During his stint at CES, he will be working as Jon Phillips' lackey, attempting to shoot and direct interesting photos among CES chaos. Trained as a classical photojournalist, Jim's looking forward to setting a career record of shooting 3,500 cell phones.

Jon is a senior editor at Wired.com, and the editor of Gadget Lab. At CES, he'll be in charge of wrangling up all of Wired's staff so they actually do some work. He's always got an eye peeled for the Next Big Thing -- along with one of those crazy foot-massaging booths on the CES show floor.

Chuck Squatriglia
Chuck is the Wired.com senior editor in charge of the automotive blog, Autopia, as well as the sports technology blog, Playbook. He'll be reporting on the craziest, most outrageous car prototypes at the show, as well as connected car technology. You'll find him cruising down the strip in the latest tricked-out Tesla or Lambo while everyone else braves the crowds on the show floor.
