Every time I go to an Imax theater, there is only one film that I want to see. It doesn't matter if I've seen it before, or if there are a plethora of choices, I always want to see the underwater 3D offering. Since I was a child I have had an obsession with the beautiful briny sea. While most of my friends were dreaming of being teachers or doctors, I wanted to be a deep sea diver. When I was sixteen and choosing my A-levels, I let a wicked Chemistry teacher talk me out of pursuing marine biology as a career, so I live vicariously through these 3D features. An obsession I did not let die at sixteen was with everything Disney. So imagine my excitement upon finding out that on September 14th 2012, I get to see *Finding Nemo *in 3D. It so happens to perfectly coincide with my son'ts third birthday so it will be a nice treat all around. Now I am not a huge fan of these re-releases just for the sake of 3D effects. I think it's money grabbing, and I can't believe it adds too much to the advancement of the story. That being said, Finding Nemo is a fantastic movie and I can't wait to dive in deeper this September. Check out the trailer and dare to tell me this isn't cool!
