I thought I was being a smart, minimalist traveler when I put down €30 ($40) for Griffin's USB mini cable kit, which consists of three stubby cables, each running from a full-sized USB plug to either a miniUSB, microUSB or iPhone dock connector.
But the Magic Cable Trio from Innergie goes one better. Or is it three better? The single cable features the same connectors, only they stack on top of each other, further saving space. The miniUSB is hardwired, and the microUSB and "40 pin" [sic] coonectors daisy-chain on top.
Pros: Even tinier than three already tiny cables. Permanently joined together (with hinges) to make one hard-to-lose unit.
Cons: Non-used plugs remain attached, may get in the way. Only one adapter can be used at a time.
Still, it is just $20. On the other hand, the Griffin kit can be had for just $15 on Amazon. Available now.
