It's been almost a decade since the last Men in Black film, but in case you had forgotten about the sci-fi-comedy franchise, the hype machine for the upcoming third installment is about to go into full swing.

Starting with the new Men in Black 3 trailer above, Sony Pictures is launching a campaign that will probably leave you feeling as though you can't escape the sunglasses-clad, alien-investigating duo of Will Smith (Agent J) and Tommy Lee Jones (Agent K).

Luckily, this trailer offers enough good teases (time travel! secrets!) that it actually should whet your appetite for the film's spring release. The best moment is the parting shot of Josh Brolin doing a nearly pitch-perfect Jones impression as Young Agent K (guess he picked up a thing or two when the two actors worked on No Country for Old Men). There's also just enough Emma Thompson to show us how fun she will be as Oh.

Not shown, however, is Bill Hader's turn as Andy Warhol, which -- considering how well Hader does with the similarly eccentric Stefon on Saturday Night Live -- has the potential to steal the show. (Please let this steal the show.)

Men in Black 3, directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, hits theaters May 25, 2012.
