What do you expect to happen when you take teens to a cookie decorating party and hand them a gingerbread kit? A Tardis, of course. And an ensemble cast of confectionary characters.
Purists will note that while the Doctor’s 3-D glasses, coat, and blue sonic screwdriver clearly mark him as the tenth doctor, he is accompanied by Amy and Rory. So what? He’s a time lord, OK? And if the tenth doctor wants to hang with Amy Pond, well, that’s alright with me. Besides, there’s a weeping angel creeping up from behind so I think there are bigger things to worry about.
And off to the side? The Impossible Astronaut, a Cyberman, a Dalek, and an Ood are all jostling for space in this sugary sci-fi vision.
It’s true that you may find other ways to build a gingerbread Tardis with more art, but you’ll be hard pressed to find one with as much heart.
