The zombie apocalypse is upon us, and you've got a house to protect. No need for guns, though; you have fighting plants! To defeat the undead, you must cultivate plants that shoot peas, fire, ice, and corn; mushrooms that emit toxic fumes; and potatoes that explode like land mines when stepped on.
In Plants Vs. Zombies Sun-generating sunflowers earn you points for more and better plants. As you progress, the terrain gets less arable — swimming pools and rooftops — and the walking dead tougher to put down. There are zombies who pole-vault, ride balloons, and even drive Zambonis. You're limited in the number of plant species for each level, so the challenge lies in finding just the right combination for that particular onslaught.
