This is just a quick reminder to everyone interested that we will be performing a double engine test Saturday November 26 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The test is open for members of Copenhagen Suborbitals Support, sponsors or other interested. So if you for some bizarre reason is near Copenhagen please join us for a great day with sore ear drums.

__Test info:
__Date: Saturday, Nov 26, 2011
Gates open: 10:30 – 11:30 AM
1st ignition: 12:00
2nd ignition: 2:00 PM (time changed Nov 23, 2011 from 3:00 PM)
Location: Refshaleøen 185, DK-1435 Copenhagen KEngines data:
1: Hybrid engine, Modified HATV
2: Hybrid engine, Modified Baby LES
The two engines will be combined as a two stage rocket for altitudes 50-80 km to be launched spring/summer 2012 to test radio communication and sea launch operation.

When performing engine tests we will naturally log all relevant data to learn all about thrust, specific impulse, oscillations and more. However, engine tests are not just a matter of developing and verifying engines but also an important event to train the crew in the delicate and potential dangerous operation and dealing with safety issues related to ourselves and spectators.

Least but last, seeing and hearing a rocket engine test is a life time experience! It is impossible to describe sights and sounds. Holy moly and sweet Jesus. It’s like a drug. Having tried it once, you need more and more.

I hope to get some kind of 3G or 4G connection running at some point so we are able to stream these tests live for you.

For now please enjoy some video from earlier engine tests at our YouTube Channel.
