Google has released Ridley Scott's full length feature Life in a Day on YouTube. Appropriately, with over 4,500 hours of footage from 192 countries submitted to YouTube capturing July 24, 2010, globally, the final movie is now also available for viewing on the video sharing platform.
This is one of those perspective films, giving us a little time out to consider something of our insignificance in a world where everyone sleeps and wakes and fumbles through their day.
The quality I streamed from YouTube onto my Apple TV was very watchable. I recommend finding a way to watch this somewhere other than your computer screen, if possible. It is also worth checking out the lifeinaday YouTube channel for some great background footage and information.
