You may have come across his website, A Lego a Day where this 5th Grade teacher has spent a couple of years posting daily photos of Lego. Some of his images are certainly inspired, and you can now purchase them in a 2012 calendar.
It is available at Red Bubble, so really it isn't restricted to 2012 as they let you start the calendar at any date you like.
