I'm a huge fan of both Disney and Pixar so I've been excited to hear things about their upcoming movie, Brave. So far, I'm really looking forward to this movie coming out because it looks like it is going to be very good. The main character is a fiery redhead named Merida, who is the first female main character in a Pixar film.
The trailer gives us more information about the story, which is based in 10th century Scotland. Merida is the daughter of the King and Queen, but is also a skilled archer. She doesn't want to follow the traditional roles set out for her but wants to follow her own path, which is a pretty typical Disney theme.
I know that I'll be counting down until *Brave *is released in theaters next June. The trailer makes me even more eager to see this movie.
