Wrangler Cameron Cozac (@dolphins) joined the site after our recent Barbie patent search was posted on the Wired Facebook page. Along with Wranglers Heidi (@knoxyankee) and mrf (@mehdirf), the original patent, an international patent and information on the creator can all be found here.
Photocopies of these papers were sent to filmmaker Todd Haynes after his Carpenters documentary utilized the toys instead of actors. Neatorama shared video footage of the film this week, speaking the search for Barbie's origins.
