Nintendo will update the Nintendo 3DS firmware with 3-D video shooting capability at the end of November, it said on Friday.

In addition to allowing users to shoot up to 10 minutes at a stretch of stereoscopic video, the feature will support stop-motion animation, so users can create their own Robot Chicken-style animations using a 3DS, steady hands and patience.

Nintendo also said Friday that it would add the Hulu Plus streaming video subscription service to Wii and 3DS. Other new 3D animation and music videos are to be released on the 3DS eShop beginning Friday.

The November firmware update will also include an update for the eShop digital content store and new levels for the StreetPass mini-games: new puzzles for the Plaza and a new dungeon for the Find Mii game.
