Here's another cool video for word nerds like me, and it's a very visual entry. Designer Ji Lee created a book called Word as Image, in which he takes on this challenge: "Create an image out of a word, using only the letters in the word itself."
This video shows some of his best work, complete with fun sound effects. It's unbelievably creative and exuberant, as much a celebration of letters as the expressive words they make up. Indeed, the book's description says that it "invites you to see letters beyond their utilitarian dullness. It's about discovering the magic behind the unique shapes and infinite possibilities of letters and words."
Note: You might not want to show this to your kids unless you're ready to explain what a condom is.
