New downloadable content will be available for Deus Ex: Human Revolution this October, publisher Square Enix said Tuesday.
The DLC has been rumored for several weeks now, ever since fans began participating in an alternate reality game in late August, just a few days after Square Enix released Deus Ex: Human Revolution for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Called "The Missing Link," the downloadable content will comprise several supplemental missions that fill in some of the story's blanks.
"The Missing Link takes place during the later stages of the game's main story and fills in a three-day section when... Well, we don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't finished the game yet," the company said on its blog. "Those of you who have finished will no doubt know what we're referring to."
Since I have not yet finished Deus Ex, I have no idea what Square Enix is referring to. I will venture a guess that it has something to do with augmented transitional fossils.
